Dan Dalacu obtained his PhD from l’Université de Montréal in 2000. The following year, he joined the National Research Council (NRC) where he is currently a Senior Research Officer. He also holds adjunct positions with the Physics Departments at the University of Ottawa and Queen’s University.

His research focuses on the development of quantum photonic devices with specialization in the growth, fabrication and spectroscopy of III-V semiconductor nanostructures.
