Giulio Vampa is a research scientist at the National Research Council Canada (NRC), a fellow of the Joint Center for Extreme Photonics (JCEP) and Adjunct Professor of physics at the University of Ottawa.

Giulio earned a PhD in Physics in 2016 at the University of Ottawa with a thesis on high-field/attosecond interactions in crystals, under the supervision of Paul Corkum. He then was a postdoctoral scholar at the Stanford PULSE Institute, advised by David Reis, until September 2020, where he broadened his research to encompass high-field interactions on nanostructured surfaces.
