Jeff Lundeen holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Quantum Photonics. He led multiple efforts in photonic quantum information processing, developing ways to generate, manipulate and characterize quantum light during his PhD at the University of Toronto and at the University of Oxford as an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow. He returned to Canada as a researcher at the National Research Council to work on quantum dot sources of single photons and later developed an approach to directly measure a quantum wavefunction.

In 2013, Dr. Lundeen became an Assistant Professor in the Physics Deptartment at the University of Ottawa, and an Associate Professor in 2019.
