Louis Gaudreau

Dr. Louis Gaudreau is a research officer at the National Research Council Canada (NRC) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa and at l’Universit√© de Sherbrooke, specializing in quantum transport of different quantum dot technologies including GaAs heterostructures, InAsP-InP nanowires, and 2D Van der Waals heterostructures.

During his PhD at the University of Sherbrooke, he studied electrostatic quantum dots and realized for the first time a coupled triple quantum dot system leading to the investigation of the first exchange-only qubit.

He was awarded the prestigious Marie-Curie fellowship for his postdoctoral position at ICFO, in Barcelona, focused on light-matter interactions by combining quantum emitters and graphene.
